Often compared to “speed dating,” DealSource allows for private meetings between intermediaries, private equity groups, hedge funds, and corporate dealmakers. This year, we have initiated several new and improved aspects based on your valuable feedback to ensure meetings are met and connections are made. InterGrowth 2008 will be held at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida. 

                                       

Some new and improved features include:

• The Showconnect™ software tool gives you, as a DealSource exhibitor, the ability to communicate first hand with prospective appointments, confirm your appointment times, access the names of the individuals participating in the meeting, as well as the ability to make any necessary changes, or last minute substitutions, to the schedule. This interface between PEGs and intermediaries will engage all parties well in advance of the event and maximize your investment in DealSource.

• Registered PEGs must “opt-in” to the Showconnect™ appointment scheduler. This way, only those firms that are available for appointments will be scheduled appropriately.

• Intermediaries will have an opportunity to view each private equity group’s company profile, allowing for familiarization with the firms in attendance and make informed decisions regarding invitations to meetings.

• Confirmation emails sent from the intermediaries directly to the PEGs will help ensure successful meetings.
