Our Mission

Provide high quality content and networking opportunities for current and prospective members.

About ACG
Today ACG comprises more than 14,000 members from corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms representing Fortune 500, Fortune1000, FTSE 100, and mid-market companies in 54 chapters in North America and Europe. ACG Atlanta is one of the oldest and most active chapters, providing the area's executives and professionals a unique forum for exchanging ideas and experiences concerning organic and acquisitive growth.

ACG Atlanta's membership is composed of nearly 600 individuals in decision-making positions who have personal and professional interest in corporate growth (including organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing arrangements, or in the provision of services facilitating such activities.)

We believe that ACG Atlanta provides the best forum in Atlanta to exchange information on corporate growth and meet others with similar professional interests. ACG members have the opportunity to:

  • Enjoy great content at programs and events, offered each month

  • Connect with others focused on best practices, organic and acquisitive growth

  • Enrich the community with volunteer opportunities for our future leaders and for young students

The ACG program year starts in September and runs through May. At eight monthly meetings each year and through our quarterly series on hot topics in the business world, guest speakers -- chief executives from the region's companies and experts on subject matters focused on best practices -- describe their business community and growth strategies. And, our golden event of the year in February, Capital Connection, attracts those focused on offering capital and raising capital from all over the country to enrich the Atlanta business community.

The Chapter also presents prestigious annual awards for entrepreneurship and growth, and members may participate in ACG's annual Intergrowth conference of members from its global chapters.

Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth (
www.acg.org) is the premier global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions. Today ACG stands at more than 12,000 members from corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms representing Fortune 500, Fortune1000, FTSE 100, and mid-market companies in 53 chapters in North America and Europe. Leaders in corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms focused on building value in their organizations belong to ACG. They recognize the multiple benefits of networking within an influential community of executives growing public and private companies worldwide.

ACG Atlanta is the third largest group in the international ACG organization, with nearly 500 members.
