What is DealSource?
DealSource is a unique opportunity for intermediaries and private equity firms to conduct brief pre-scheduled, one-on-one meetings. It is an exclusive venue, allowing the privacy Intermediaries prefer for deal conferencing with the private equity community.
The event offers an outstanding opportunity to have focused private meetings with up to 12 targeted private equity groups in a compact time frame.
Sometimes compared to "speed-dating," DealSource is set up in a ballroom configured to hold ongoing private meetings between investment bankers and private equity groups. Investment banks purchase the tables for up to 3 hours and during that time may conduct as many as 12 interviews with colleagues who have signed up in advance. Each interview session lasts 15 minutes. Space is limited at the event; only 40 tables are available.
New Addition to the 2009 Agenda: Following the 12 scheduled "speed-meetings", we open the event as a "Reverse Capital Connection." Investment bankers will then have the opportunity to exhibit at their DealSource tables, while all private equity exhibitors registered for the following day's Capital Connection have the opportunity to network among them.
Who Exhibits at DealSource?
Investment banks purchase exhibiting tables for DealSource.
The price of a table at DealSource is $975.00. General conference registration for 3 exhibitors/attendees is included with table purchase. ACG Boston contact exhibitors regarding scheduling appointments using an online scheduling tool.
Who Participates in DealSource?
Private equity firms that register to exhibit at ACG Capital Connection will receive priority invitations to participate in DealSource. Participation in the scheduled, one-on-one meetings is limited, and will be available to those who respond early to the invitation. However, all ACG Capital Connection exhibitors will be invited to participate in the "Reverse Capital Connection" following the scheduled "speed-meetings."
Interested private equity groups will sign up as DealSource participants and ACG Boston will contact all participants regarding scheduling appointments using an online scheduling tool. ACG Boston will provide each participant with their schedule of meetings and participant contact information one week prior to the Growth Conference.
