Morty White, a Wynnchurch Managing Director, spearheads the Canadian office. He is responsible for originating, leading, executing and managing the fund’s Canadian investments. Morty gained his experience at GE Capital; concluding as the VP of the Technology, Media & Communications Group.  Morty was also part of a small team at GE; that helped launch their Merchant Banking Group. Prior to joining Wynnchurch Morty ran a consulting practice, working with equity funds and growth companies on due diligence, operations, business development and investing in special situations.
 
Chad Danard, a TriWest Capital Managing Director, joined TriWest in 2005. Prior to this, Chad had worked at Morgan Stanley in the Global Energy and Utility Group in New York and in the Canada Group in Toronto. While at Morgan Stanley, Chad was involved in a variety of M&A-related strategic advisory assignments, equity offerings
and both private and public debt financings. Chad also spent time in India, where he co-managed the day-to-day operations for the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley Advantage Services.
 
David Given, a Partner with Blue Point Capital, has over 24 years of experience in equity capital investing and 33 years of experience working with middle-market companies.  In 1990, David co-founded the predecessor firm to Blue Point Capital Partners.  Previously, David was a shareholder, director and executive vice president
of Automated Tracking Systems, an Ohio based data processing services company, where he was responsible for all operating activities involving 150 employees.  Prior to Automated Tracking Systems, David held various positions in the corporate finance groups of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and of Robertson, Colman & Stephens, in New York and San Francisco.
 
Curtis Johansson, a CAI Private Equity Managing Directior, has been based in Vancouver since he joined CAI in 2006. He was previously with RBC Capital Markets, most recently as an Associate in their Structured Finance and Advisory Group in London, England. Prior to that position, he was an Analyst in their Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Calgary.
