About our Chapter
The Central Texas Chapter of ACG encompasses Austin, San Antonio and surrounding areas, and is one of three Chapters in Texas. We are five years old in our most recent incarnation. We have over 200 members today and were the fastest growing chapter in ACG's "small chapter" category last year. We hold monthly meetings in both Austin and San Antonio.

Like most local ACG chapters, the member and non-member attendees tend to fall into four categories: CXO's of middle -market and emerging growth firms; senior people in the private equity and VC business; deal advisors - both funding and M&A (IB's, M&A advisors, corporate lawyers; accountants & tax; bankers); a variety of other folks interested in the growth of middle market companies. As you may know, ACG covers a broad range of industries. Austin tends to be a little heavier than most cities on the tech side, but we cover a number of different industries reflective of the company mix in our areas.

The ACG meeting in Austin is on the second Wednesday of each month at The Shoreline Grill and the San Antonio meeting is held on the last Tuesday of the month at The Plaza Club. This is a luncheon meeting that begins with networking from 11:30am -12Noon, then proceeds to the program and lunch beginning at 12:00. We end promptly at 1:00pm. We usually have a 30-40 minute presentation followed by question and answers and our audience is typically between 60-90 attendees.
