Roland Mower, CEO of Port San Antonio
Mr. Mower has broad executive-level background leading efforts to attract and grow large industrial and advanced technology projects in Texas and elsewhere in the U.S.

Prior to his arrival at Port San Antonio in September 2014, Mower served for nine years as President and CEO of the Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation (CCREDC)—the leading economic development organization in the Texas Coastal Bend Region. Under his leadership, CCREDC assisted in attracting 4.6 billion in international and domestic business investment to the Corpus Christi region, including multi-million dollar projects by Austrian, Chinese and Italian firms. These efforts led to the creation and retention of over 8,500 area jobs, particularly in the energy and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Prior to his role in Corpus Christi, Mower was CEO of The Research Valley Partnership, Inc., a regional economic development corporation in Bryan, Texas. He has held similar positions in Colorado, including at the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation, Fort Collins Economic Development Corporation, San Luis Valley Development Resources Group and Bent County Development Foundation.

Mower has also participated in an array of local, state and national organizations as member and officer. He served on the Leadership Development Committee of the Industrial Asset Management Council and completed a term on the Institute for Food Science & Engineering Advisory Board at Texas A&M University. He is past Chairman of the Larimer County Workforce Investment Board in Colorado, from 1996 to 2001, and served in various leadership positions with the Economic Developers' Council of Colorado, including as its President between 1999 and 2000.

He is active in various other professional associations, including the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), through which he has been a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) since 1999. He also received his certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) from the National Development Council in 1993.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography from the University of North Dakota.

This event will take place @ the Plaza Club in the Frost Bank building @ 100 W. Houston St. Suite 2100 in San Antonio.
Complimentary self-parking for this event is available in the parking garage of the Frost Bank building.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing to acgcentraltexas@acg.org by 5pm, May 25th will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 5pm on May 25th. If you are an ACG Member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person for this same event. If the person attending in your place is not an ACG Member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them up to the non-member rate to attend.
