Matt A. Ferris, Chairman of Lone Star Tangible Assets will present, "Securing wealth through tangible assets in an unsecure electronic world".

Mr. Ferris is the Chairman of Lone Star Tangible Assets, the parent company of the United States Gold Bureau and WholesaleCoinsDirect.com. The United States Gold Bureau is a full-service, tech enabled alternative asset firm headquartered in Austin, Texas. WholesaleCoinsDirect.com is an ecommerce precious metals company. Matt is responsible for leading the initial acquisition of the U.S. Gold Bureau’s assets in 2008, its subsequent management turnaround strategy, and its growth from a small print media and telephone sales business into the ecommerce, tech enabled business that exists today. Matt serves both organizations as their lead advisor on matters related to strategic direction, legal and regulatory concerns, technology advancements, and the operations and security for the companies. He also serves both companies as their lead advisor on external contracts and agreements.

In addition to his commitment to both the United States Gold Bureau and Wholesale Coins Direct, Mr. Ferris is a founding member of the Gold & Silver Political Action Committee (PAC), an industry PAC created to promote the interests of the physical precious metals industry within U.S. regulatory agencies and the United States Congress.

Prior to his experience in the precious metals industry, Mr. Ferris was the CEO of SignalOne Safety, a consumer products business jointly headquartered in the United States and Hong Kong, China. As a result of his tenure at the company, he gained significant experience managing international business matters in Asia and Europe. Prior to his international work, Matt spent four years at General Electric Capital Corporation in business development for GE Capital’s structured finance and asset lending division. Matt is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Matt holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University at Chico. He is married and lives in Austin, Texas.

*NOTE: This event will be held at Sullivan's Steakhouse @ 300 Colorado St. in downtown Austin. Valet parking will be available @ 6.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing to acgcentraltexas@acg.org by 5pm, Dec. 9th will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 5pm on Dec. 9th. If you are an ACG Member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person for this same event. If the person attending in your place is not an ACG Member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them up to the non-member rate to attend.
