Young ACG Charlotte (YACG) is a membership class designed to provide content and social networking for young professionals, including relevant speaker events, social outings and YACG community service events.
As full members of the ACG Charlotte chapter, YACG members will have attendance and participation rights for events in the primary ACG chapter. The YACG membership is open to anyone under the age 35 at an annual rate of $175, which represents a 50% discount from the normal membership fee. The membership discount does not apply to various ACG activities which involve extra payments during the year (wine tasting, Bobcats outings, etc.). Anyone whose 35th birthday falls within the year of their membership will be required to begin paying the full membership rate and would thus be considered to have aged out of the YACG membership class.
An advisory board has been created to plan programming and events focusing on issues and activities of particular interest to persons just beginning their careers. The advisory board is led by Ridgemont Equity Partner's Kelly Brennan and also includes John Blair of K&L Gates, John Conklin of BlackArch Partners, Meredith French of Moore & Van Allen, Wes Shull of Carousel Capital, and Emily Tindel of Frontier Capital.
