Will Cooper, BlackArch Partners
Will Cooper is a founder and Managing Director of BlackArch Partners. He has 15 years of experience in middle-market mergers and acquisitions transactions, including more than 40 sellside, buyside and strategic advisory assignments. Mr. Cooper leads BlackArch’s Infrastructure & Construction practice and serves as co-head of the firm's Energy practice. His industry experience includes Energy, Healthcare Products & Services; Industrial Growth & Diversified Manufacturing; Distribution & Supply Chain Management; and Applied Technology & Digital Media. Prior to starting BlackArch, Mr. Cooper was a director with Edgeview Partners, a leading middle-market investment bank based in Charlotte. At Edgeview, Mr. Cooper advised on numerous transactions, including the sale of Sprint Industrial Holdings to First Atlantic Capital that was recognized as the 2008 “Industrial Manufacturing/Distribution & Goods/Services – Above 100 MM Deal of the Year” by The M&A Advisor. Prior to joining Edgeview Partners in 2005, Mr. Cooper was a director in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance LLC (“EYCF”). As part of the Health Sciences industry team at EYCF, Mr. Cooper was responsible for initiating and executing exclusive sale, acquisition and private placement transactions for U.S. healthcare and life sciences companies and coordinating cross-border transactions with Ernst & Young’s European offices. Mr. Cooper earned both a master of science degree in accountancy and a bachelor of science degree in accountancy from Wake Forest University. He holds a master of business administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he was named a Fuqua Scholar. Mr. Cooper lives in Charlotte with his two sons.

Jean Reaves Rollins, The C Three Group
Jean Reaves Rollins founded the C Three Group, LLC™ in 1998, providing senior management advisory and research services to the energy utility industry. Prior to founding The C Three Group, Ms. Rollins was a founding partner of The Coba Group, a London based strategic management consultancy. During her 12 years at Coba, Ms. Rollins developed Coba's worldwide energy and utility practices that were based in Atlanta, GA. The Coba Group was sold to Renaissance Worldwide in 1997. Ms. Rollins' areas of specialization are corporate strategy and business development. She has worked at a senior management and board levels at numerous US and international companies including Hewlett-Packard, ScottishPower, MidAmerican Energy, Edison International, Hydro-Québec, Ontario Power, Hydro One, The World Bank, Schroders, Barings, and Lloyds Corporate and Institutional Banking. Ms. Rollins received her undergraduate degree for the Georgia Institute of Technology and her MBA from Stanford University. She currently serves on several not-for-profit and for-profit boards of directors.

John Shimp, Ridgemont Equity Partners
John is a Partner at Ridgemont and member of the firm’s Investment Committee. John is primarily responsible for the group’s investment activity in the Energy sector. He also has extensive experience in Basic Industries and Services investing and is involved in those efforts. John currently serves on the board of directors of Abrasive Products & Equipment, Indigo Minerals, M3/M4 Midstream, Pintail Oil and Gas and Unitex Oil and Gas. John previously served on the Operating Committee of BAML Capital Partners from 2009 to 2010. Prior to joining Banc of America Capital Investors in 2000, John was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where he advised clients in the energy, financial services, business services, chemicals and manufacturing industries. Previously, he was a submarine officer in the United States Navy. John earned his M.B.A. from Duke's Fuqua School of Business and an A.B. in Chemistry and Political Science at Duke University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Mike Switzer, Duke Energy
Mike Switzer is Director, Corporate Development at Duke Energy. He reports to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and is responsible for corporate development activities including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. Switzer has worked in Corporate Development for the past seven years managing transactions for Duke’s utility and non-utility businesses. Switzer joined Duke in 2007 in the company’s MBA rotational program. From 2001 to 2005 Switzer worked for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Rockville, Maryland as a Materials Engineer in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research. Switzer received an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and has an MS in Materials Science and Engineering and a BS in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Virginia.
