Important Conflict/Meeting Notice
ACG Chicago prohibits any attendee, exhibitor or industry representative from sponsoring or conducting any type of function or event consisting of a group of 10 or more attendees between the hours of 5:30 pm and 8:00 pm on October 18, 2010 and between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:30 pm on October 19, 2010. This policy applies to functions or events at the conference site as well as off-site in the Chicago metropolitan area. Those individuals and/or companies found not adhering to this policy will be subject to their conference registration being canceled with no refund.
Conference Location/Directions
The conference will be held at McCormick Place - West Building, Skyline Ballroom. The Skyline Ballroom is located on Level 3 of the West Building.
If arriving by cab, the drop off location is McCormick Place, West Building, Gate 40.
If driving, please visit the McCormick Place website for complete directions – www.mccormickplace.com . For parking follow signs for Parking Lot A, recommended that you park on level 4 of the parking garage and exit directly on that level to the West Building. (Please note that level 4 of the parking garage is level 3 of the building) Exiting on level 4 of the parking garage will take you directly to the lobby area of the ballroom floor. Follow the signs posted to the registration check in area.
Agenda /Schedule
Registration will open at 7:15 am. The registration area will be located just outside the Exhibitor Room which is room W375-E. We will have directional signage along the ballroom corridor to help you locate us. We will have a coat check area located near the registration area.
A plated breakfast will be served starting at 8:00 am until 8:45am in section W375 B/C of the Skyline Ballroom followed by our keynote speakers.
The Capital Connection exhibitor room will open at 10:00 am and is located in room W-375 E. This room will be open till 2:00 pm. To get familiar with the 150 +Private Equity & Lending Firms that are participating this year information including table assignments, room layout and company profiles of the exhibitors will be available online prior to the conference.
A luncheon buffet will be available in room W375 B/C (breakfast room location) from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A wonderful buffet has been planned so don’t forget to take a break from the exhibitor room for a bit and enjoy lunch.
For those who have pre-registered for DealSource, DealSource will run from 2:30 to 5:00 pm, and is restricted to exhibiting private equity firms and investment banks/intermediaries that have already arranged private meetings. This portion of the conference is not open to general registration attendees.
Afternoon Keynote Speaker – To Be Announced
This presentation will be held in W375 B/C from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm.
Closing Cocktail Reception 4:00 - 6:30 pm
After you have enjoyed our afternoon keynote presentation, enjoy a cocktail to wind down along with more networking opportunities at our Closing Cocktail Reception, open to all attendees from 4:00 to 6:30 pm which will take place in the Sponsor Gallery.
The conference concludes at 6:30pm. Please note that the DealSource function is limited to exhibiting private equity firms and investment banks/intermediaries that have already arrange private meetings. This portion of the conference is not open to any other attendees.
Dress Code
Though business suits are the norm, business causal is accepted.
Conference Survey
Shortly after the conference we will be forwarding you a survey. Please take a minute to complete the survey as we want to hear from you! Your comments will help us prepare for the 2011 Midwest ACG Capital Connection scheduled for October 18, 2011.
Be sure to save the date now for next year’s conference. Any Private Equity firm who did not exhibit this year be sure to email Terry Cobb at tcobb@ACGChicago.com asap if you would like to be placed on the wait list for 2011 as tables fill out very quickly each year. Also Investment Banks wishing to participate in DealSource should do the same and certainly if you firm is interested in sponsoring next year’s conference let us know right away!
Cancellation Policy
Your registration is refundable if your cancellation is received in writing to networking@ACGChicago.com by October 1, 2010 minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations received after October 1, 2010 will not be refunded. If you would like to send a substitute in your place you are welcome to do so. Members substituting a Non-Member in their place will need to pay the upgrade price of $100.00 to be taken to the Non-Member registration fee. All transfers of registration must be called into ACG Chicago 877-224-6389 no later than Friday, October 15th 12, noon or handled on site the day of the conference.
Registration Check-In
All attendees must check in when arriving; badges will be required.
