Duncan S. Bourne, Managing Director has been associated with Wynnchurch Capital since 2003. Prior to Wynnchurch, Duncan was a Partner with BDO Seidman LLP, where he led BDO’s Midwest turnaround and restructuring practice. Duncan was also a Director with AlixPartners, an internationally recognized turnaround, performance improvement and financial advisory firm, and a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s Financial Advisory Services consulting group. Duncan began his career with BPAmoco as a chemical engineer.
 
Mr. Bourne is a certified turnaround professional and a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor, with more than 20 years of experience in turnarounds, financial restructurings and operations performance improvement. Duncan works extensively with Wynnchurch portfolio companies. Prior interim management experience in manufacturing, transportation, hospitality and consumer products.
 
Mr. Bourne holds a B.S., in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. 
 
Robert M. Horak, Managing Director at Lincoln International. Bob leads or assists in leading debt advisory and financial advisory deal terms, manages key client relationships and markets the firm’s services. His primary area of expertise is advising corporate and private equity clients on the structuring and arranging of financing for acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, mergers, and restructurings.  Bob also advises clients on select merger and acquisition transactions and is active in providing valuations and fairness opinions.
 
Throughout his career, Bob has worked with manufacturing, distribution and service companies in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Lincoln International, Bob spent twelve years executing corporate finance transactions. Bob’s experience includes eight years in Heller Financial’s Corporate Finance Group, three years with GE Capital and one year with First Source Financial, Inc. In addition, Bob worked in public accounting as a auditor for Price Waterhouse. 
 
Mr. Horak holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and a M.B.A. form Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
 
John L. Waller, Senior Vice President at Fort Dearborn Advisors, LLC leads transaction teams and heads the firm’s Industrial Growth industry practice. John has been advising clients on middle market M&A transactions for 13 years and began his career in the investment banking industry nearly 20 years ago.
 
Mr. Waller has completed around 50 middle-market transactions ranging from exclusive sales for private companies and private equity firms to divestitures from publicly traded companies and “going private” transactions. John has also initiated and led numerous acquisition programs for clients around the world. John began his professional career at KPMG and subsequently worked at the international investment banking form of Credit Suisse. For the previous 13 years he worked for international middle-market M&A boutiques in Chicago focusing on exclusive sale and acquisition transactions. Civic institutions John is involved with include the Art Institute of Chicago, the Morton Arboretum and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. John volunteers with Chicago 2016 to assist Chicago in securing the 2016 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. 
 
In addition to leading FDA’s Industrial Growth practice, John has completed both sale and acquisition transactions across many other sectors of the economy. John has worked for clients both in the United States and abroad. John earned a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business with emphasis in Finance, International Business and Accounting. John also earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in Accounting.
 
David Walsh, Portfolio Manager for the Allstate Pension Plans and Allstate Financial Capital Partners portfolios. In addition, David directs the development of quantitative research to support tactical asset allocation decisions within Allstate’s Portfolio Management Group.
 
 Mr. Walsh began his investment career at Allstate Investments in 1986 as a quantitative analyst in equities. Prior to assuming his current role in 2001, David held a number of leadership roles at Allstate, including investment strategy, derivatives, and quantitative investments and risk management. Before starting his investment career at Allstate, David was an assistant Professor of Preventive Medicine (Biostatistics).
 
David received a B.S. in Biology/Mathematics from Providence College, a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Washington, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. David currently serves on the Executive Committee of CIEBA, is a CFA Charterholder, and is a chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
