The recently completed China International Private Equity Forum (CIPEF) in Tianjin, China boasted over 8,000 attendees from throughout China and from around the world. The event offered opportunities for networking and learning about doing business in China, as well as connecting with Chinese firms that want to do business in the U.S. and beyond.
A highlight of CIPEF was the ACG Capital Connection®. Close to 100 firms participated in the event which is designed to allow interested parties to begin dealmaking conversations. The ACG China chapter hosted a series of panel discussions focusing on topics such as RMB Private Equity Fund Development in China and Investment Opportunities in China’s 12th Five-year plan. The panels were led by leaders in the M&A community from China and abroad. Following the informative panel discussions, ACG China held a reception where the panelists were available to answer more questions and network with their peers.
