The First Tee was founded in 1997 through partnership with the World Golf Foundation for the purpose of providing affordable access to children who otherwise might not have an opportunity to play and enjoy the game of golf.

The group’s mission is to provide young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop, through golf and character-education, a core set of life-enhancing values such as honesty, integrity, respect, and perseverance.

The First Tee Dallas serves more than 4,000 children at golf courses and schools.
