ACG DFW Committees:

  • Advisory Council
    • The Advisory Council is made up of past Presidents of ACG DFW. These advisors support the Board of Directors in planning and decision making with the benefit of having the background knowledge of ACG DFW. 
  • Board of Directors
    • The Board of Directors is made up of members from various industries and categories, who help keep ACG DFW running smoothly and provided the right value to it's members. 
  • Fort Worth
    • Committee plans Fort Worth networking events and educational programs. Helps to growth our Fort Worth Network and grow sponsor opportunities and relationships.
  • Marketing
    • Committee is responsible for ACG DFW's chapter branding, public relations and marketing activities, with a focus on promoting members and their organizations. 
  • Membership
    • Committee is responsible for recruitment and retention of members through programs and events and being ambassadors for membership development.
    • This include the PODs, Connector Program, and Member Referral programs.
  • Network
    • Committee plans the networker events, including the Members Only Holiday Party.
  • PEER
    • Committee plans the Roundtable events for the Private Equity-backed Executives (C-Suite) to help build best practices and problem solve for the future. (PE-backed executives are the only attendees, no other categories are allowed to attend.)
  • Programs
    • Committee is responsible for planning the speakers and content for all the Dealmaker Programs for the season.
  • Special Events 
    • M&A Awards: Coordinates with DCEO Magazine to plan, develop, and collect nominations for the annual Mergers & Acquisitions Awards Reception and Program.
    • Wine Tasting: Assist in planning event, collaborate on wine selection and sponsorship development for the Wine Tasting Networking event. Includes development of the DealSource for Investment Banks and Private Equity Groups.
  • Sponsorships
    • Responsible for oversight, coordination and implementation of sponsorship opportunities and ongoing Sponsor relationship management.
  • Texas ACG Capital Connection
    • Responsible for coordination of all activities associated with the annual conference when it is in Dallas. Scheduled to return to Dallas in 2021. Requires committee member assistance for a wide variety of needs.
  • Women in ACG DFW
    • Plans women’s events including programs and social networkers. Supports and helps grow the female population in the DFW M&A community.
  • Young Professionals of ACG DFW
    • Responsible for recruitment and retention of young professionals through programs and events, while being ambassadors for membership development.
