Ian is the Head of Digital Engineering at Quantum. Prior to joining Quantum, he served as the Vice President of Product Development for Xecta where he managed all aspects of software development, corporate cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure. Previously, Ian has served as a Senior Technical Director at Baker Hughes, leading commercial software products and IOT hardware developments, and with Standard and Poor’s as a Global Director managing a multi-million-dollar digital portfolio. Ian began his career in energy with Halliburton in the U.K. where he held various software engineering and product management positions. Ian holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.B.A. in Oil and Gas Management from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen (Scotland).

Loren has provided business process and information technology consulting services since 1993. As the firm's leader of business intelligence and corporate performance management solutions, he delivers leading-edge technology solutions for clients. His experience spans enterprise solutions including finance, human resources, operations, customer relations, business intelligence (BI), and corporate performance management.

Loren’s principal focus is on improving business results through process and system design, business intelligence reporting, and multi-platform systems integration. He has experience leading projects utilizing both traditional and agile delivery methodologies, and is certified by the Project Management Institute as an Agile Certified Practitioner.

Katherine Franco is a registered patent attorney who concentrates her practice in the protection of innovation with a special focus on high-tech.

She primarily focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, licensing and acquisition of intellectual property rights, opinion work, and client counseling. Her emphasis lies in applying her computer science and engineering background to technical disciplines related to software and electronics

Rich Robinson, Operating Partner (Technology), joined the company in 2023 and works closely with Platform’s portfolio companies to help them digitally transform their products, services, and operations with smart technology solutions. Currently, Rich serves on the Board of Directors of July Business Services, and works directly with Exact Payments, Principle Health Systems and South Coast Terminals. Rich joined Platform after 27 years of building and leading technology teams across various industries and geographies. As an experienced technology executive, Rich has a passion for integrating technology solutions into the broader business strategy. Rich most recently served as the CIO/CTO of Standard Industries, (“Standard”), a privately held business generating approximately $10 billion of revenue with 20,000 employees in over 80 countries. Prior to Standard, Rich worked in various senior technology roles at SunPower and Bazaarvoice. He started his career as a Communications Officer in the U.S. Army. Outside of work, Rich and his wife (Valerie) are active fund raisers in support of finding a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. In addition, Rich enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and spending time with his wife and their three children.
