ACG Kentucky was formed in 2008 to establish an ACG chapter in the Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana region. Louisville, KY is the center of commerce in Kentucky and Southern Indiana and has a well established corporate community and professional support infrastructure. This region has a long tradition of supporting corporate growth and has several high profile cases of exceptional corporate achievement including Humana, Brown-Forman, Yum Brands, Kindred Healthcare, Papa John’s, Texas Roadhouse, and ResCare.

Our geographic location places us at the center of a large segment of the Midwest between Indianapolis, IN, Cincinnati, OH, and Nashville, TN. Each of these cities provides similar economic leadership within their state and either has or is capable of supporting a successful ACG chapter. In recognition of Greater Louisville’s growth and development as an economic center, a robust private equity community is developing. Several local private equity firms are in operation and several high profile national firms have recently opened offices.

ACG Kentucky’s organizational leadership consists of senior leaders of prominent private equity firms, investment banks, commercial banks, business services professionals, and private equity backed growth businesses. We continue to build our membership by offering exceptional events featuring industry leading speakers and high quality networking opportunities in a modern conference center environment. Our goal is to promote middle-market business growth by attracting private equity capital sources to the region and facilitating active merger and acquisition deal making.
