2013 Deal of the Year Nominations
The ACG Maryland Chapter will recognize and honor business transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, financings, alliances and IPO's, that have impacted our region and those companies and individuals who were successful in their pursuit of corporate growth through such activity. The winners will be announced at the Deal of the Year Award Gala on Thursday, November 14, 2013.

All firms conducting M&A transactions in Maryland are eligible to enter where transactions occurred between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2013. Entrants will be judged by a distinguished panel of judges comprised of industry experts.

Awards finalists, invited guests and sponsors will celebrate with a cocktail reception in the 1884 Baldwin Roundhouse of the National Historic Landmark B&O Railroad Museum.

Finalists will receive two [2] complimentary tickets to the Gala. ACG Maryland will provide each finalist with a media release, 2-minute video, photographs and video from the Gala along with promotion on our web site and our YouTube Channel.

Watch Michael Gaines, Assistant Secretary, Department of General Services talk about the State of Maryland Public Health Laboratory in East Baltimore, which was a finalist for the 2012 Deal of the Year Award in the Technology & Biotechnology category. The deal, which was made possible through the combined efforts of the Maryland Economic Development Corporation, Forest City - New East Baltimore Partnership, LLC, East Baltimore Development, Inc., the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Department of General Services, was honored at the Deal of the Year Gala on Thursday, November 8, 2012.
