ACG MN Young Professionals Happy Hour and Timberwolves Game

Join ACG Minnesota's Young Professionals for a fall happy hour and Timberwolves game. 

We will meet at Gluek's for happy hour before walking over to the Target Center for the Timberwolves game against the Miami Heat. Game start time is 7PM Central. 

Registrants will have a choice to attend the happy hour only or to additionally purchase a suite ticket or a general group ticket. Suite tickets are limited to 30 tickets. They will be sold first-come-first-serve. No exceptions. Once they are filled, we are only able to offer group tickets. 

Our young professionals group within ACG Minnesota is aimed at professionals age 40 and younger involved in corporate growth, corporate development and mergers and acquisitions.

ACG MN Monthly Luncheon Featuring: The Current State of Global Terrorism

Join ACG Minnesota for our monthly luncheon meeting featuring: The Current State of Global Terrorism.

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria continues to seize new territory and call out to new recruits around the world with savvy Internet-based propaganda. Jarret Brachman will provide an update on the group's current strategy, leadership, recruitment and messaging.

Speaker: Dr. Jarret Brachman is an internationally recognized specialist on global security and violent extremism. He currently manages the Global Threat Intelligence program at Wells Fargo. From 2008 - 2013, Brachman launched and directed a law enforcement training program at North Dakota State University. Before that, Brachman served as the founding Director of Research at West Point's Combating Terrorism Center from 2004-2008. He holds a Ph.D in international relations from the University of Delaware and served as a Fellow with the Central Intelligence Agency's Counterterrorist Center in 2003.

Brachman's been called a "Laptop James Bond" by Esquire magazine and an "Information Warrior" by the Associated Press. He published his first book, 'Global Jihadism: Theory and Practice" in 2008. In 2010, Brachman traveled to Libya to interview imprisoned senior members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group. He continues advising federal, state and local government professionals across law enforcement, military and intelligence communities as an Intelligence Community Associate. He has testified before multiple Congressional subcommittees, the British House of Lords and has been cited in most major global media outlets.
