4th Annual Independent Sponsor
ACG New York Luncheon
“Independent” Sponsors and “Dependent” Sponsors –
How to create the “Win-Win!”

Thursday, April 7, 2016

What makes independent sponsors attractive to capital partners and other investors? First, it's the exposure to deals that may not be apparent to the general investment community. Second, independent sponsors can offer operational and/or industry expertise that many investors, established private equity firms or otherwise, find very attractive.
Our annual luncheon will bring an experienced perspective to the attractiveness and pitfalls of the independent sponsor private equity model!

TOPICS OF DISCUSSION:
  • What are the characteristics of a good "Independent Sponsor?"
  • Advantages/Disadvantages of being an Independent Sponsor in 2016
  • How does an Independent Sponsor differentiate themselves in today’s marketplace?
  • Investment flexibility of the Independent Sponsor model
  • Who are the best sources of capital to partner with today?
  • Who are the "Players?"
