CEO Leadership Series
Cost-Effective Cyber-Security for Middle-Market Operating Companies

Wednesday, April 22, 2015
11:15am - 2:00pm

The ACG New York CEO Leadership Series is now entering its fourth year.  It is a series of events on topics of interest to CEO's of private equity operating companies, CEOs or division heads of large corporates, and PE operating and investment partners interested in knowing what CEO's are thinking.  Past programs have drawn between 120 and 140 participants, consisting of CEO's, presidents of corporate divisions, PE investment partners, PE operating partners, and other members of the NYC and CT PE community.

Some people say that PE-owned, middle-market operating companies don't need expensive cyber-security precautions since they are too small to be targeted by overseas and domestic criminal hackers.  Statistics disprove that – we are all at risk.  It is also possible to buy that protection without spending the millions of dollars that large multi-billion companies do to gain the right level of protection.

Join ACG and keynote speaker Art Ehuan, Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Forensic and Dispute Services’ Cyber practice. He is a former FBI Supervisory Special Agent who has conducted extensive incident response for corporations that have been breached and assisted them on mitigation efforts.  His expertise focuses on information / data protection, privacy, risk management, advisory services and governance, and Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT).

He will be joined by a panel of private equity operating partners and portfolio company CIOs with war stories about PE-owned operating companies finding cost-effective ways to interdict hackers and protect themselves and their investors from the financial and reputational damage, and loss of value caused by a breach incident.
