Issa Advises on Vintage Deal
If you’ve spent any time at our signature events, you know that ACG OC Past President and long-time Chapter Sommelier Mike Issa, principal and bankruptcy specialist at GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group, brings extraordinary passion – and knowledge – when it comes to the subject of wine.  He recently blended those virtues on behalf of a client in successfully negotiating the single largest wine sale in U.S. history.

The story is getting a lot of coverage in the wine industry, as evidenced by this recent piece in Wine Spectator.  It’s good copy.  There’s fraud by the Debtor, prison time for the principal of the Debtor, a hotly contested auction in bankruptcy court, and wines ranging from Hall of Fame first growths to those needing both 7-Up and ice to be swallowed. Mike will be hosting an event at the warehouse of his client, Spectrum Wine Auctions, to relate the nuances of the case and auction and to taste some of the wines.
CEO/Corporate Leader Program: Extraordinary Experiences

Where do executives from the highest performing companies in the Inland Empire and Orange County go once they've been honored at ACG OC's annual Awards event?  Many join our exclusive CEO/Corporate Leader initiative, where they network with C-Suite peers at content-rich events held at some of the OC's most unique venues.  To learn more about this by-invitation-only group, please e-mail Committee Chair Steve Paulin.
