Financial Perspective:
Jon Leiman, Vice President Pfingsten Partners
Jon has significant experience in private equity investing with middle market companies. He has extensive transaction experience, having closed and managed investments in consumer products, niche manufacturing, and business services companies. Jon has also served on several boards, including stints as Chairman of two Boards of Directors.
Jason Hendren, President Industrial Lighting Products, Inc
Jason is the founder and President of Industrial Lighting Products, a Sanford, FL manufacturer of energy efficient lighting From 2009 to 2012, Jason tripled the revenue of the company while dramatically increasing margins. In late 2012, Jason entered into partnership with Pfingsten Partners. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from UCF.
Strategic Perspective:
Tom serves as the Chairman of the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation and Chairman Emeritus of the Beacon Council. He is also the Chairman for Assurex Global. Tom was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Travelers Insurance Company in 2007. In addition, he was also named one of the Ultimate CEO of 2011 by South Florida Business Journal.
Laura Eidson Cosgrove, President Eidson Insurance
Laura joined Eidson Insurance in 1994 to establish a third-generation business. Laura is licensed for both general lines of insurance and life and health insurance. Through active involvement with the Florida Association of Insurance Agents, Laura keeps in touch with industry-wide issues. A graduate of the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Laura returned to her home state to earn her law degree at the University of Florida.
Ty G. Roofner, Moderator, Attorney, Burr & Forman
Ty practices in the Corporate & Tax practice group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance and early stage and start-up companies. He has significant experience in working with entrepreneurs as they work to grow, and then profitably exit, their business. His clients appreciate his forward thinking approach, creativity and passion to close transactions.
