Deal making takes more than just one person, so this is a team-based competition. Each team should be comprised of not less than 2 and not more than 5 students. We highly recommend teams of 3 – 4 students.
The competition is open to all graduate school business students at participating universities, whether they are full-time, part-time or executive MBAs.
Once registered, team members will receive log in and password information to access the case via a virtual data room. Access is given 2 weeks in advance of a school's ROUND 1 competition date.
Workshop
ACG will host a workshop for registered teams on Mastering a Winning Presentation on Monday February 11 from 6 - 7:30 pm. Topics to be covered include: presentation skills (oral & written), valuation skills, private company financial metrics, and common mistakes. In addition, a regional investment banking firm, Griffin Financial Group, will be doing a pitch as an example of a well structured and successfully delivered presentation. A dial in # will be provided for students unable to attend in person.
