Join ACG Philadelphia as we kick off the new program season with an insiders' look at how the stimulus, legislation and new proposals in Washington may impact dealmaking in both a positive and negative light.
Certainly, the creation of a record $787 billion Economic Recovery & Reinvestment Act will generate growth and investment opportunities in specific segments of the economy, such as energy, health care and infrastructure. At the same time, some financial system reforms may alter the basic landscape of the deal environment.
Our speakers include
- James Brown, Chief of staff to Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and a former private equity investor himself at SCP Partners. He will help offer perspective and insight on the issues and opportunities facing the investment community.
- James Creedon, Secretary of General Services of Pennsylvania and appointee to Pennsylvania's Stimulus Oversight Committee will share his knowledge about plans and stimulus opportunities in our region.
