Join Us for ACG Pittsburgh’s "Under 35" Discussion on Networking and Managing Up
As emerging young professionals and our future corporate leaders, you are all aware of the importance of networking with other professionals and being able to “manage up” within your organization. These softer skills are critical to career development, but for some reason they are often overlooked in mentoring and business training programs.

Join us for an engaging discussion on these softer skills with Bill Valenta, the Assistant Dean of Executive and MBA programs at the Katz Graduate School of Business. Bill is able to draw insights gained from a diverse career that has included a range of consulting engagements and leadership positions in the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police before entering and rising in the world of academia.

Bill’s discussion will be followed by wine tasting and networking, with an engaging format that will encourage you to continue developing your network among fellow ACG members.

Location: Perlé (Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh)

Cancellations received via email at least 3 business days from the event will be granted a refund, less a 20% administrative fee. Cancellations received after the cut-off date (3 days prior to) are not eligible for a refund. However, registrations can be transferred without penalty to another representative from the same company for the same event, with advanced notification to organizers. If the replacement representative is not a member of the association, the firm will be responsible to pay the difference between the member vs. non-member rate (this will vary depending on the event).
