Letter from our Chapter President
Message from the Chapter President:
Peter D. Morgan
President, San Francisco Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth

Thank you for taking the time to visit the web site of the San Francisco Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. We appreciate your interest in our organization.

Many of you know  that our chapter was recognized as the best mid-sized chapter in the ACG organization in 2010! Despite this honor, we are working to improve our chapter further.. My goal as President is to provide the vision for continued change and improvement as well as  many new and exciting programs in the coming year here at SF-ACG.

For those of you interested in promoting corporate growth here in the San Francisco Bay Area, you have found the right organization. We believe we are the pre-eminent organization dedicated to helping middle market companies grow. We provide some great benefits that include:

·         Connections - through a network of senior business leaders that attend our events to meet with other business leaders and develop those relationships so important to promoting corporate growth. We have about 355 members currently, with a wide range of experience, and all are senior executives in their respective organizations.

·         Content - not only on our ACG SF web site but also at our events, as we invite entrepreneurs, senior managers, capital providers and business experts to speak about making corporate growth happen in the real world. Currently, we host breakfast and lunch events as well as special programs in the early evening. Occasionally, we host events purely dedicated to networking and socializing. Our cornerstone event is our all day Capital Conference, where this year we had over 50 private equity investors in attendance, many coming from outside the city.

·         Capital – through a well developed network of capital providers and intermediaries that ACG provides on a global basis, we can provide the connections to not only financial capital, the essential ingredient of corporate growth, but intellectual and human capital as well.

·         Community – we believe our chapter has a culture of common support for our members and, furthermore, for the broader community, particularly as it relates to serving the needs of charities, non-profits and businesses serving the economically disadvantaged.

I hope you take an interest in ACG, if you haven’t already. If you are interested in applying for membership, click here. If you are already a member and are interested in becoming more involved by serving on one or more of our various committees, click here. If you are interested in the leadership of our chapter, you may view the current Board of Directors and Officers if you click here.

And, if there is anything our Chapter Executive or I, as President, can do for you, please click here.

With best regards,
