Leadership

President:  Chris Andersen
Christopher J. Andersen is the founder and President of Atlas Business Advisors, a Bay Area boutique Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) firm.   Atlas works exclusively with the owners of privately-held companies across a broad range of industries. Chris has 25 years of professional experience, helping build 6 companies and assisting thee of these companies through the sales process. 




Immediate Past President and CSR Chair:  Dianne Dubois
     

Dianne is currently a Principal at Atlas Business Advisors, a boutique M&A firm. With 26 years of experience, Dianne advises sellers of businesses in the lower end of the middle market. Prior to joining Atlas, she held a number of corporate financial and operational roles, in both public and privately held companies. In her most recent corporate role, she was COO and CFO of a high growth privately held firm in the travel and hospitality industry.

 

Programs Chair:  John Dare
John Dare is co-founder and COO of Dissero Partners. He is a seasoned executive with experience in corporate transformation, executive leadership, and strategy execution. His work as a consultant has focused on accelerating corporate performance, developing breakthrough strategies, and driving execution through high-performance teams



Growth Award Chair:  Melissa Griffiths
Melissa Griffiths has 10+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing, and has been the Business Development Director for BDO Seidman, LLP for 6 years. Melissa has expertise in the areas of professional networking, professional association management and leadership, sales and marketing initiatives for complex marketplaces, strategic marketplace penetration, advertising and public relations.

Membership Co-Chair: Peter Morgan
Peter Morgan is a Managing Director at The Spartan Group LLC, an investment banking firm with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles.  Peter has over 25 years of investment banking experience, having worked at Banc of America Securities and Lehman Brothers prior to co-founding The Spartan Group.  His expertise includes helping companies raise growth capital and engage in M&A transactions


Marketing Chair:  Theresa A. Matacia, CFA

As a Strategy and Corporate Development Executive, Theresa has 20+ years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, merger integration, finance, capital markets and strategic planning. Currently, Theresa advises senior management teams on strategic direction and initiatives that drive growth and bottom line results. Her core area of expertise is to drive shareholder value by executing strategic initiatives and growth altering transactions.

Secretary:  Pamela Haley

Pamela Haley is the president of Melville Management that does turnarounds, change management and growth strategies for the food and consumer goods industries. Clients include restaurant chains, food manufacturers, a medical equipment distributor, an apparel company, and a ready-to-assemble furniture manufacturer. 



Treasurer:  John Jeffords
With more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, John provides audit, accounting and business advisory services to privately owned businesses. His experience includes audits of private companies, assistance with mergers, acquisitions and venture capital financing. His industry experience includes high-tech, manufacturing, distribution, retail and mortgage banking.


Sponsorship Chair:  Rob Robinson 
Rob is a Founder and Managing Member of Rigel Associates and is currently a board member of Flexstar Technology. He has significant transaction experience, completing over $5B in financings, utilizing a full spectrum of financial instruments, including M&A, initial public offerings, private placements, secondary public offerings, high-yield debt, bank credit and convertible equity.

Immediate Past President:  Bruce Maximov, Esq.

Bruce Maximov has been a partner in the Business Department of Farella Braun + Martel since 1986. He has a wide-ranging general business practice which emphasizes the corporate, securities, financing and operational needs of early stage and maturing companies, with a particular focus on intellectual property-based technology companies.
