Peter Morgan is a Managing
Director at The Spartan Group LLC, an investment banking firm with offices in
San Francisco and
Los Angeles. Peter has over 25 years of investment banking experience, having worked at Banc of America Securities and Lehman Brothers prior to co-founding The Spartan Group. His expertise includes helping companies raise growth capital and engage in M&A transactions
Programs Chair:
Christina Bui
Christina Bui is Director of CFO Services for Robert Half Management Resources in Northern California and oversees the Salaried Professionals Program of mid- to senior level financial consultants. Prior to joining Robert Half, she was Associate Managing Partner of Tatum, where she led business and market development for Tatum’s CFO and Controller services for almost 4 years. Prior to joining Tatum, Christina was Vice President, responsible for market development of the Northwest Region for Parsons Corporation, one of the world’s largest engineering and construction firms, across five transportation divisions: bridges/ tunnels, rail transit systems, highways, aviation and consumer services. Prior to joining the engineering industry, Christina was with Encore Capital Management, a private investment company and venture capital firm, where she performed financial analyses on investment opportunities for several hedge funds dedicated to investing in private equity investments of publicly traded companies. She helped launch a Vietnam fund and was involved with one of the firm’s venture capital projects in Vietnam. Before Encore, Christina was part of the Corporate Government Affairs team of Johnson & Johnson and represented the healthcare company on Capitol Hill on corporate and health care issues. Christina holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and French from the University of Virginia. She serves on the Board as Programs Chair of Association of Corporate Growth San Francisco Chapter; Co-Founder and VP of the Society of Asian Women Leaders; and the Board of Asian Immigrant Women Advocates.

for BDO Seidman, LLP for 6 years. Melissa has expertise in the areas of professional networking, professional association management and leadership, sales and marketing initiatives for complex marketplaces, strategic marketplace penetration, advertising and public relations.

Theresa A. Matacia, CFA
As a Strategy and Corporate Development Executive, Theresa has 20+ years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, merger integration, finance, capital markets and strategic planning. Currently, Theresa advises senior management teams on strategic direction and initiatives that drive growth and bottom line results. Her core area of expertise is to drive shareholder value by executing strategic initiatives and growth altering transactions.
Jill Rowe

Jill B. Rowe is a business and real estate litigation attorney. She is a partner at Cooper, White & Cooper, a full service law firm with corporate and securities, bankruptcy, intellectual property, litigation, real estate, employment, and environmental practice groups. As a litigator, Ms. Rowe has brought numerous cases to a successful conclusion, through all phases of mediation, arbitration, trial and appeal. She has experience litigating a wide variety of case, such as breach of contract, real estate fraud, trademark infringement, and partnership disputes. Ms. Rowe's clients are real estate firms, banks, wineries, pharmaceutical distribution companies, and a wide variety of other businesses and industries. Her community service activities include representation of San Francisco tenants in eviction proceedings. Ms Rowe also serves on the San Francisco Elections Commission, which works to ensure free and fair elections for San Francisco residents.
Treasurer: John Jeffords
With more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, John provides audit, accounting and business advisory services to privately owned businesses. His experience includes audits of private companies, assistance with mergers, acquisitions and venture capital financing. His industry experience includes high-tech, manufacturing, distribution, retail and mortgage banking.

Rob is a Founder and Managing Member of Rigel Associates and is currently a board member of Flexstar Technology. He has significant transaction experience, completing over $5B in financings, utilizing a full spectrum of financial instruments, including M&A, initial public offerings, private placements, secondary public offerings, high-yield debt, bank credit and convertible equity.
