ACG SF CHAPTER CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OVERVIEW
San Francisco ACG (SFACG) has had a long history of supporting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as demonstrated by its annual Non-profit Growth Award that dates back to 1996. In 2005 under the leadership of then President, Phil Estes, SFACG adopted a formal CSR initiative after extensive meetings with leaders of the Bay Area non-profit community and the CSR Committee was launched.
The importance of such an initiative and the vitality it would bring to the chapter was evident to SFACG’s leadership. More importantly, it was recognized that providing the opportunity for community service involvement would enhance membership benefits, while fulfilling the primary goal of giving back to the community.
The Committee’s objectives were twofold both simple and straightforward. First, identify well run non-profit organizations in the community who were in need of board members, program volunteers and advisors to fulfill their missions. Second, mobilize the vast talent pool resident in SFACG to help fill the needs of these organizations. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE.....
