Guidelines for Sponsors
As the premier association for executives, ACG has a long tradition of excellence in all of its activities. Because ACG monthly meetings, programs and speakers are organized by members, they present information that Private Equity and Merger and Acquisition Professionals want and need to have. These activities are highly valued by those who attend because they are objective and unbiased. It is in the best interest of members, non-members who attend our activities, ACG as an organization and our Sponsors, that the integrity of our activities is maintained at all times.
ACG has, therefore, developed the following guidelines that apply to all Sponsors whose representatives attend and participate in our conference:
1. Representatives of our Sponsors should refrain from disparaging competitors, including those who may not be represented at the activity.
2. ACG believes that the best sell is a soft sell – perhaps even a “no sell”. Because Corporate and Private Equity executives are much sought after by providers of products and services, they often respond negatively to blatant self-promotion. However, they are clearly interested in information that will help them serve their companies better, or help their firms deal with specific issues.
3. Finally, all Sponsor activity should be done in a professional manner.
Sponsorship by your firm has been sought because of the quality and professionalism of you and your organization. Your fellow Sponsors of ACG will also be aware of these guidelines, and they will be of the same high caliber and professionalism as yourself. Thank you for supporting the South Florida Chapter of ACG.
(ACGSF reserves the right to revoke a sponsorship due to unprofessional behavior by participants. This includes disparaging competitors, pressured sell tactics etc. This is an extreme action and would only take place after warnings regarding problems have been issued.)
ANNUAL SPONSORSHIPS
ACG South Florida is seeking Sponsors for the chapter and its programming. ACG South Florida provides prospective Sponsors with opportunities for highly beneficial value propositions providing exposure to companies, financing sources, intermediaries and professionals working in the middle market, generally defined as businesses generating revenues ranging from $50 million to $500 million.
As described below, ACG South Florida provides its Sponsors with the opportunity to reach the middle market and with favorable association with the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), a nationally recognized organization known for promotion of middle market businesses.
Platinum Sponsorship ($5,000) [ 2 Opportunities ] (cash and in-kind)
Sponsorship Benefits
· Sponsor logo (linked to Sponsor’s website) posted to ACG South Florida’s website, together with a brief description of Sponsor and its business
· Press Release announcing sponsorship
· Free registrations for up to four (4) people for each ACG South Florida event (other than sporting events, events held at venues not engaged by ACG South Florida or joint events with another organizations) for the 12-month period from the date of sponsorship
· Two (2) free ACG membership registrations for individuals designated by Sponsor
· Free exhibit table at each ACG South Florida event (other than sporting events, events held at venues not engaged by ACG South Florida or joint events with other organizations)
· Inclusion of logo and sponsorship status in all e-mail communications by ACG South Florida regarding events held by ACG South Florida
· Opportunity to speak at ACG South Florida’s annual awards dinner (2-3 minutes)
· Opportunity to participate in programming for one (1) ACG South Florida event including:
- opportunity to play a key role in developing program content and speaker/panel selection
- featured role in marketing of event
- opportunity to speak and promote company at event
Gold Sponsorships ($2,500) [ 2 Opportunities ]
Sponsorship Benefits
· Sponsor logo (linked to Sponsor’s website) posted to ACG South Florida’s website, together with a brief description of Sponsor and its business
· Press Release announcing sponsorship
· Free registrations for up to two (2) people for each ACG South Florida event (other than sporting events, events held at venues not engaged by ACG South Florida or joint events with other organizations) for the 12-month period from the date of sponsorship
· One (1) free ACG membership registration for an individual designated by Sponsor
· Inclusion of logo and sponsorship status in all e-mail communications by ACG South Florida regarding events held by ACG South Florida
Bronze Sponsorships ($500) [ Up to 6 Opportunities ]
Sponsorship Benefits
· Sponsor logo (linked to Sponsor’s website) posted to ACG South Florida’s website, together with a brief description of Sponsor and its business
· Press Release announcing sponsorship
· Free registration for one (1) individual at each ACG South Florida event (other than sporting events, events held at venues not engaged by ACG South Florida or joint events with other organizations)
Preeminent Event Sponsorship ($1,500)
Sponsorship Benefits
· Sponsor logo (linked to Sponsor’s website) posted to ACG South Florida’s website, together with a brief description of Sponsor and its business
· Right to select topic and speakers
· Participation in event as either panel member, moderator or introductory
· Free exhibit table at event
· Press Release announcing sponsorship
· Placement of name and logo of Sponsors on all badges used by pre-registered attendees of ACG South Florida events
· Free registrations for up to two (2) people for each ACG South Florida events (other than sporting events, events held at venues not engaged by ACG South Florida or joint events with other organizations) for the 12-month period for date of sponsorship
Individual Event Sponsorships ($500)
Sponsorship Benefits
· Sponsor logo (linked to Sponsor’s website) posted to ACG South Florida’s website, together with a brief description of Sponsor and its business for that event notice and publicity
· Free exhibit table at event
· Free registration for two individuals at the Sponsored event (other than sporting events, events held at venues not engaged by ACG South Florida or joint events with other organizations)
· Participation in event based on suitability, as either panel member, moderator or introductory remarks, welcoming to event.
About ACG and ACG South Florida
ACG is a global organization that assists its members in developing and implementing strategies for business growth and development. In its 50 plus years of existence, ACG’s members have enjoyed opportunities for networking, deal making, personal growth, and professional development, relating to M&A, corporate finance, strategic alliances, business development, recruitment of managerial and professional talent and other business related matters.
The South Florida Chapter of ACG has experienced significant growth in recent years and has about 150 members in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. The Chapter holds meetings during most months of the year that feature prominent speakers on business and growth related topics that alternate between northern Broward and Miami-Dade counties to accommodate the geographical diversity of its membership. ACG South Florida has also holds quarterly breakfast meetings in Palm Beach County to serve its members there.

For all Sponsors: The Sponsor, by signing below agrees that it will pay the ACG its sponsorship fee based on the level of sponsorship chosen within thirty days of signing. The Media Sponsor, by signing below agrees that it will provide the in-kind services indicated above throughout the sponsorship year. The Sponsor will provide the South Florida Chapter of the ACG a usable digital version of its logo and it will indemnify the South Florida Chapter of the ACG for any and all liabilities which may arise from this sponsorship. In turn the South Florida Chapter of the ACG will provide the benefits as described for the level of sponsorship chosen.
