ACG St. Louis is unique in its mission:

To be the premier organization in metro St. Louis focused on profitable corporate growth and development (including acquisitions, divestitures, internal growth and alliances)
To promote members’ professional and business interests through outstanding programs, networking and activities of the international ACG and affiliate chapters.

The St. Louis chapter was founded two decades ago and has grown to more than 300 executives. Monthly breakfast meetings are usually held on third Fridays of each month, except July, August and December, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Washington University Knight Center. Monthly email notices provide meeting detail, required reservation information and background on the keynote speaker and his or her company.

Quarterly Corporate Development Series seminars address growth challenges during a more in-depth 90-minute intensive class. Meeting sites vary. See our chapter calendar for more details.

Members' skills are advanced and their titles are typified in these four categories:

Top executives in their operating co. divisions of administration, finance, development and planning.
Principals in professional service firms such as attorneys, accountants, consultants, deal makers, investment bankers -- all specializing in M&A
Financiers including commercial bankers, cash flow lenders, leasing cos. & asset-based lenders
Private Equity investors (active buyout funds, venture capital, pledge funds w/ at least one portfolio company, mezzanine funds and accredited angel investors

ACG St. Louis won the Chapter of the Year Award, which was presented to the chapter at the ACG InterGrowth® conference in May 2010.
