Steve Smith is the co-founder and CEO of Lawrence Group, New + Found and Integrate Construction Partners. For more than 35 years, Steve has led the expansion of Lawrence Group from its roots as an architecture and interior design practice into a full-service practice offering architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, furniture procurement and master planning services to clients across the country. More recently, Steve launched Lawrence Group’s strategically affiliated real estate service providers, Integrate Construction Partners and New + Found. Together, Lawrence Group and Integrate Construction Partners are able to provide a collaborative design-build approach, leading to a seamless project delivery from design to completion. New + Found takes this a step further for clients looking for real estate development and investment services.

Committed to the revitalization of St. Louis, Steve has led the development of more than $500 million in historic renovations over the last 10 years, including projects such as City Foundry STL, the Angad Arts Hotel, the Marquette Building, Park Pacific and Sun Theater. He is currently providing leadership for the $120 million Vande East development as part of City Foundry Phase Two. He is immediate past chair of the SSM Health Regional Foundation and is on the board of directors for Greater St. Louis Inc. In 2018, Steve was honored for his contributions at Grand Center Inc.’s annual gala and received the Board of Advisor’s Award at Construction Forum STL’s annual Building Tomorrow Awards. In 2021, he became the inaugural recipient of the Kim Tucci “Heart of St. Louis Award” and was inducted as an AIA Fellow.
