There is one work challenge we all face, every day: Persuading others.  Whether we are selling our products and services or persuading investors, employees, board members, lenders, partners, or vendors, persuasion is something we must do continually.
 
Yet we all face the same challenge when we try to persuade people: Nobody wants to hear a pitch.  Explaining your position is not enough to persuade someone.
 
The solution? Ditch the Pitch.
 
In this program, Steve Yastrow will adapt ideas from his latest book, Ditch the Pitch, encouraging attendees to “tear up their elevator speech” and, instead, learn how to improvise effective persuasive conversations. This experience will give participants concrete ideas that they can act on immediately in both their professional and personal lives. 
  • Learn how to capture the interest of anyone you need to persuade without relying on a pre-written script
  • Gain tools to develop the skills and confidence to improvise successful persuasive conversations
  • Practice six Ditch the Pitch Habits to improve their ability to persuade naturally and confidently 
When you ditch the pitch, you become a better persuader by engaging people in conversations they care about. This program will give attendees concrete, practical tools that they can use to improve their powers of persuasion.
