ACG Sponsorship
INTRODUCTION
Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth, ("ACG"), www.acg.org, is the premier global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions for mid to large companies. Leaders in corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms focused on building value in their organizations belong to ACG. They recognize the multiple benefits of networking within an influential community of executives growing public and private companies worldwide. For over 50 years, ACG members have focused on strategic activities that increase revenues, profits, and ultimately stakeholder value. Today ACG includes over 14,000 members representing Fortune 500, Fortune 1000, FTSE 100, and mid-market companies in 56 chapters in North America, Europe and Asia.
The Silicon Valley Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth ("ACGSV") www.acgsv.org, is 25 years old and today boasts one of the highest memberships of corporate and C level executives of any ACG Chapter. These executives recognize ACGSV as a premier global forum for Silicon Valley business leaders who are involved in building and funding private and public mid-cap companies. ACGSV is dedicated to providing business professionals with world-class networking within an influential community of industry leaders. It provides several forums per year at Fremont Hills Country Club in Los Altos, with an hour of networking and an hour of education with either personal stories from Silicon Valley luminaries, through its flagship program including Valley CEO’s Speak and Legends and Lights.
By maintaining a mid-cap focus, ACGSV acts as a business catalyst, lifting seasoned startup executives to the next level and introducing Fortune 500 company executives to acquisition opportunities. Membership is by invitation only, and requires the endorsement of two existing ACGSV members and the full approval of the board. ACGSV has extensive support from major technology corporations: NetApp, EMC Corporation, BroadVision/Clearvale, Cadence, and VSI. These companies are joined by the following professional sponsorships: Foley & Lardner LLP, BDO, Oracle, Deloitte, Kaye Scholer LLP, Insperity, Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, Wells Fargo Bank, FLG Partners, Hopkins Carley, Houlihan Lokey, KPMG, Merrill DataSite, Needham, Opinion Bridge, Robert Half International, Silicon Valley Bank, BNY Mellon Wealth Management, CBIZ, Comerica Bank, Cypress Semiconductor Corp., The Digital 360 Agency, EffectDesign, Inc., Heffernan Insurance Brokers, Loopking Wines, Lunder Real Estate Services, McGladrey, OCSC Sailing, Ola's Exotic Coffee & Tea, SingerLewak, and SRPR | Shev Rush Public Relations.
