David Osterweil is the Founder of Fitlife Foods, a “powerfully good” fresh prepared meals store chain based in Tampa, FL. Fitlife Foods was developed to help people find fresh, all-natural prepared meals that are great whether you're looking to lose weight, run a marathon or just running behind on time. David created Fitlife because; “I realized it was time in my life to combine what I know (the food business), with what I love (food, health & wellness) and eliminate what was challenging for me about the restaurant business, in an effort to solve problems for others.”

Fitlife Foods has grown to five locations in the Tampa Bay Area with 90 team members. In 2012, Fitlife was selected and served as one of three outside caterers for the Republican National Convention in Tampa. During this month long engagement, Fitlife served over 18,000 meals for NBC Universal, providing meals for TODAY, Morning Joe, NBC Nightly News, Meet the Press, Hardball and others. Fitlife also served the RNC’s Committee on Arrangements, Caucus Operations, TimeWarner Cable, and the CBS News Production Pool. In 2013, Fitlife sold its first franchise in Brandon, FL, opening in July 2014. In February 2014, the company closed a minority investment with FLF Investment Partners to help aid the company’s expansion; former Lifestyle Family Fitness Chairman, Stuart Lasher, led this group.
