About ACG

Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth (http://www.acg.org ) is the premier global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions for mid to large companies. Leaders in corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms focused on building value in their organizations belong to ACG. They recognize the multiple benefits of networking within an influential community of executives growing public and private companies worldwide. For 50 years, ACG members have focused on strategic activities that increase revenues, profits and, ultimately, stakeholder value. Today ACG stands at more than 8,000 members representing Fortune 500, Fortune 1000, FTSE 100, and mid-market companies in 42 chapters in North America, Europe and Asia.

About ACG Utah

ACG Utah elects its own officers and conducts 10 meetings per year (9 breakfast meetings and one annual conference). These meetings are timely, strategic forums for local members to stay informed and be at the forefront of their industry. Breakfast meetings will be held the second Tuesday of each month (except July and August) and begin with "networking" at 7:30 am and Breakfast at 8:00 am. ACG Utah  is in formation right now and seeks members who are among the area's top professionals involved in all areas of corporate growth, particularly joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

MISSION STATEMENT

To promote the professional and business interests of Association for Corporate Growth members by providing access to knowledge and business opportunities, through networking, communications and forums related to both internal and external growth.

MEMBER CATEGORIES
ACG Utah  has three main categories of membership, which are reflected in the make-up of the national association. The categories are:

Corporate Growth/Development Officers -- executives responsible for their companies' growth
Equity Groups - equity investors
Service Providers/Advisors-business intermediaries, lenders, attorneys, accountants, consultants, valuators and recruiters, etc.
