The Western Michigan Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) proudly presents the 2012 ACG Cup. ACG Cup is a masters-level deal -analysis competition designed to give MBA and MS Finance students’ real-world experience while networking with this region’s top merger and acquisition professionals.
Students analyze a complex business case and recommend strategies involving valuation, identifying capital markets, developing merger/acquisition strategic alternatives and financing options. Prominent members of the corporate community applied their industry expertise as judges for the competition.
In addition to exposure to actual situational analysis and problem solving, it gives the students the opportunity to interact with professionals who are dealing with situations such as those addressed in the case study on a regular basis.
