We are pleased to announce ACG 101’s 12th annual Women in Corporate Growth Luncheon on Wednesday, July 12th. This year our diverse panelists will talk about their career journeys, how they got to where they are today, and the people that helped them along the way. There will be a particular focus on the concept of mentorship in terms of what it can look like, and how it is evolving. The speakers will address the topic from both their individual perspectives as well as how their company’s view and support mentorship for their employees, and offer guidance on how to develop advocates in your own career.
 
This year's panel includes moderator Leslie Stackpole, Partner at RSM US, LLP,  and speakers, Andrea Chucvara, CEO of Cosmetic Group USA, Stacy Johns, COO & CFO of The Los Angeles Football Club and Tanya Booke, Head of Talent & Culture with Mannkind Corp.

With 26 years of experience in public accounting, she is passionate about tax planning and helping clients save money. Leslie builds high-performance teams to serve all clients of the L.A. practice in a myriad of industries. She leads L.A.’s Culture, Diversity & Inclusion (CDI) programs spending a large portion of her time providing critical guidance and mentoring Employee Network Group (ENG) leaders and members. Leslie is especially active in the STAR (Stewardship and Teamwork resulting in Advancement and Retention) ENG, a group that promotes advocacy and mentorship and provides professional development for women in the workplace.

Andrea Chuchvara

Andrea Chuchvara has served as CEO of Cosmetic Group USA since 2012.  Before Joining the company Mrs. Chuchvara led her own executive consulting firm Blaze LLC for 13 years.  During her consulting years Mrs. Chuchvara assisted global organizations in the beauty industry to create ABBIES award winning product, and engineer and negotiate successful licensing agreements.  She also led rapid domestic and international expansion efforts, new brand creation and image overhauls, economic crisis recovery, and exits.

Her professional experience includes leading the West Coast Sales team of the Donna Karan Beauty company, transitioning to Estee Lauder with Donna Karan, Regional Sales Director at Ralph Lauren Fragrances a division of L’Oreal USA, and cosmetic buying and store operations experience at the luxury department store Neiman Marcus. Mrs. Chuchvara maximized her career skills by authoring the business insight book The Balance Act of Business.  Mrs. Chuchvara holds a Master of Arts from the Catholic University of San Diego.

Stacy Johns

Stacy Johns joined the Black & Gold in August 2020 as Chief Financial Officer from the Indianapolis Colts (NFL). In this role, Johns led the Club’s finance and accounting departments, along with people operations, while coordinating fiscal planning, accountability, and strategy across all segments of its business. In January 2023, she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer and now also oversees a number of revenue generating verticals, as well as data strategy, IT, and stadium operations. Prior to joining the Club, Stacy spent 16 years at the Indianapolis Colts, where she spent her final six years as the team’s Vice President of Finance and HR. She began her career as a CPA, spending time with firms Ernst & Young and Eli Lilly. Her career with the Colts was marked with numerous achievements. Reporting to the long-time CFO, Stacy oversaw the financial health of the organization with a focus on revenue and managing a staff that oversees day-to-day finance, data analytics, and human resources. When she began with the Colts, Stacy spent a significant amount of time updating platforms to implement a modern accounting system and establish HR as a necessary and integral part of the organization's health. She also represented the club at NFL HR meetings and served as the liaison to the league for the HR and Finance functions. 

Stacy currently serves on the Board of Directors and Finance committee for the LA Sports Council. While residing in Indiana, Stacy served on the Lilly Girls & Young Women in STEM Advisory Committee for the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and Saints Francis and Clare Finance Council.  She also served on the Connect2Help Board of Directors for 9 years where she held multiple positions including the board’s Vice Chair and Finance Committee Chair.

Stacy earned a BS in Accounting Cum Laude from Butler University in 1999.  She has three children, Vivian, Camille, and Charlie.

Tanya Booke

Tanya Booke is an experienced organizational change management consultant and Head of Talent and Culture for MannKind Corporation. She has nearly two decades of experience working in people and organizational strategy, giving her invaluable hands-on knowledge in learning and development, organization design, performance management, onboarding experience, internal communications, business readiness, survey, and talent analytics. During her career, Tanya has held roles with various companies spanning multiple industries, including marketing, manufacturing, oil & gas, and professional services, with staff sizes ranging from 700 to 150,000 employees in global, multi-culture environments. Her experience with leading management consulting firms such as Accenture and Ernst & Young gives her a valuable combination of strategy, talent management, change management, and project management skills.

In 2020, Tanya moved into the industry to take on her current role at MannKind, a company committed to developing and commercializing innovative therapeutic products and devices for people living with endocrine and orphan lung diseases, where she applies her extensive knowledge in organizational effectiveness to develop, engage and retain top talent and ensure that the company is always poised for success.

Tanya is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She enjoys various sports during her spare time (running, weightlifting, basketball, bocce …), but is most proud to call herself the mother of two amazing 6- and 4-year-old girls. She holds a master’s in strategic human resources and talent management from Pepperdine University.
