Brad Levin is a Managing Director and Senior Wealth Advisor at The Colony Group. He brings nearly 30 years of experience as a financial advisor and in his work he strives to provide unique financial advice and perspectives to help his clients live a stress-free life. Brad’s passion for helping others find balance is evident from the moment he meets them as he listens carefully to their needs, and designs a financial plan in which clients can find fulfillment beyond a monetary amount. In addition to working with clients one-on-one, Brad is a portfolio manager with a strong focus on technical analysis and is involved in the management of investment strategies.

Brad’s approach to financial planning is shaped in by three life-changing events — growing up with a single mother, going through a divorce, and overcoming his wife’s breast cancer diagnosis. These events inspired him to provide advice that’s focused on saving and investing for the future, preparing for the unexpected and having the right team to provide guidance, and lastly, finding ways to help reduce life’s stresses.

Brad was the founder of Legacy Wealth Partners, a boutique wealth management firm in Calabasas, CA, prior to merging with The Colony Group in 2021. Previously, he was a Vice President and financial advisor with The Householder Group and a financial advisor at Kavesh and Gau.

Brad graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a Chartered Market Technician®, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designations.

Brad currently lives in Calabasas with his wife, Jennifer, and their four children. His time away from the office is devoted to family, traveling, and engaging in physical activities of all types. Blessed in his career, Brad supports a number of local and national charities.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

David Meline is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Moderna, Inc. Meline joined Moderna in June, 2020, coming out of retirement from Amgen where he served as CFO and EVP from 2014 through 2019. Prior to Amgen, Meline was senior vice president and chief financial officer at 3M. Before joining 3M, Meline had been at General Motors, serving in various capacities including vice president and chief financial officer for GM North America. He had also held senior-level positions with GM Europe in Switzerland, GM Daewoo in South Korea, GM Brasil, GM Kenya, and at GM’s New York office in the company’s treasurer’s office. He is also member of the board of directors of ABB (ASEA Brown Boveri), the Los Angeles Philharmonicm, and the Dean’s Executive Council at California Lutheran University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University, a Master of Science in economics from the London School of Economics, London, United Kingdom, and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago.

Dr. Matthew Fienup

Executive Director of the Center for Economic Research & Forecasting (CERF)

Matthew Fienup is Executive Director of the Center for Economic Research & Forecasting (CERF) at California Lutheran University and teaches graduate courses in the school’s Master of Quantitative Economics Program. Matthew’s specialties are applied econometric analysis, economic policy analysis, and environmental markets. Matthew is a member of the Wall Street Journal Economic Forecasting Survey. He was the recipient of  2019 and 2020 Crystal Ball Awards for the Zillow Home Price Expectations Survey (formerly the Case-Schiller Home Price Survey). CERF’s U.S. home price forecast received multiple top-3 rankings among the more than 100 forecasts included in the survey. He is frequently sought to speak on the issues surrounding economic and environmental policy as well as the general economic outlook for the Nation, the State and the region.
