Scott Galer

Introduce us to your day job, title and responsibilities.

I am a Partner at Stubbs Alderton & Markiles and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. I lead the middle market strategy, business development efforts and provide subject matter expertise for our practice.

What inspired you to pursue a job in this industry?

I was a business/economics major in college and was planning to get an MBA, when I discovered not all attorneys were litigators and went to court – some were actually corporate attorneys and handled business deals. At that point, I decided to go to law school and pursue handling M&A deals.
