Our thoughts are with those who have been directly affected by the COVID-19 situation. As the current situation
continues to evolve, our top priority is the health and safety of our extended ACG Austin/San Antonio community.
In response to this growing pandemic, we have decided to cancel all events between now and April 29th, which includes this lunch in Austin that had been scheduled for Wed. April 8th. We will keep you informed as to when we will resume in-person events. Stay healthy!

Alan Knitowski, CEO & Co-Founder, and Randall Crowder, COO of Phunware

While an IPO may be the traditional way for a company to go public, there’s not much “traditional” about Phunware, an Austin-based mobile app developer and digital currency creator that went public last year via reverse merger. Founded in 2009, Phunware provides the only fully-integrated mobile enterprise cloud platform that enables companies to engage, manage, and monetize their mobile application audiences globally at scale. The platform engages customers in real-time to deliver messaging, streamline online purchasing, and enhance in-store experiences, for starters. And the company’s digital currency, Phuncoin, is designed to empower consumers to take control of their data while offering brands more in-depth audience insights than ever before.

For a business that’s operating on the bleeding edge of technology, perhaps the unconventional decision to go public via reverse merger makes sense. CEO and cofounder Alan Knitowski will be joining us to discuss the exciting and turbulent process, sharing insights as to why and how the company made this move and what it has in store for the future.

This lunch will take place at The UT Club, located on the East side of DKR Memorial Stadium on the UT campus (2108 Robert Dedman Drive, Austin 78712)
