On June 12th ACG Central Texas will present the Annual Growth Awards Luncheon where we will recognize 12 market-leading companies that make our Central Texas communities a better place. Each year, the most successful companies in Central Texas compete for these awards.  EO Austin will also present their Rockstar Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The keynote speaker at the Growth Awards lunch will be Mellie Price, Managing Director, Texas Health CoLab & Executive Director, Commercialization - Dell Medical School @ Univ. of Texas at Austin, and the emcee will be Heather Ladage, publisher of the Austin Business Journal.

*Remember, this event will be held at Austin Country Club - 4408 Long Champ Dr., Austin, 78746 from 11:30AM-1:30PM. Parking will be complimentary in the Club’s Event Parking lot (past the Clubhouse entrance). Please do not park in the lots between the guard gate entrance and the Clubhouse since that is parking for the Club Members. There will be golf cart shuttles to pick you up & drive you to the ballroom in case you have to park farther out.

Your registration for this event acts as an audio/video release and includes your permission for ACG Central Texas to use your image and comments captured on audio, video or photographic formats while attending the event for marketing and promotional purposes. Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing to acgcentraltexas@acg.org by 6pm on Friday, June 7th will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 6pm on Friday, June 7th. If you are an ACG Member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person for this same event. If the person attending in your place is not an ACG Member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them up to the non-member rate to attend.
 
Unregistered Attendees:
Any unregistered attendees at ACG Central Texas events will be required to pay the walk-in/day-of event rate at the door. 
 
Event Seating:
ACG Central Texas reserves the right to fill open seats with walk-in registrants at the respective event venues once the networking period has passed and the official event programming has begun. In rare instances this could mean that registered attendees arriving late will not have a seat readily available upon their arrival. In these instances ACG Central Texas will work to accommodate the attendee, and if not able to do so to the attendee's satisfaction, ACG Central Texas will refund their registration fee.

Mellie Price, a 30 year Austinite, is the inaugural Executive Director, Commercialization at the Dell Medical School and is responsible for spinning out health-related startups from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Price was also the Founder & CEO of Austin’s own Front Gate Tickets, one of the largest privately held ticketing companies in the US/Canada from 2002 to 2015 when it was sold to Live Nation.

Mellie is an experienced investor, executive, fund manager, technologist, and eight-time entrepreneur with a range of business experience from small private sector to a large publicly traded organization. She is well known as a co-founder and Managing Director of the nationally recognized startup accelerator program and entrepreneurial hub, Capital Factory, as well as a former General Partner to its investment fund and current Director of Diversity and Inclusion. Still an active entrepreneur and investor herself, Mellie recently co-founded SoftMatch, a business intelligence platform that helps organizations gain deeper insights about the money they spend on Corporate Innovation.
A frequent presenter and keynote speaker, Ms. Price is an active member of the Texas entrepreneurship community and a winner of the prestigious Austin Business Journal’s 2015 Profiles in Power Award as well as the 2014 Tech Titan Award. She is a member of the Board of Directors for KLRU (PBS-TV),  Leadership Austin, and Mission Capital. She is also a proud founding Advisor to Texas Competes and currently serves on the Technology Advisory Committee for Austin Mayor Steve Adler.
