Indiana Capital Markets Showcase
Workshops & Wine - A Perfect Pairing!
 


The Capital Markets Showcase will educate business owners, senior executives and their advisors regarding M&A, capital and liquidity events, and in addition, showcase professional expertise and capital providers who are actively involved with deals in Indiana. Key objectives of the event are to a) educate the audience about business growth and divestitures via M&A, b) provide a timely and in depth analysis of the capital markets, and c) allow for networking at a wine tasting hosted by private equity firms and capital investors.

3:30 p.m.   Workshop A - Using M&A as a Value Creation Tool
A panel will discuss using M&A to grow a business and the process of buying/selling companies.

4:20 p.m.   Workshop B - State of the Capital Markets Presentation
A panel will examine conditions in the middle market debt and equity markets. Business valuations will also be discussed.




Katie Jones, BMO Capital Markets
Katie Jones is a Managing Director within BMO’s Global Leveraged Finance and U.S. Debt Capital Markets practice.  With over 18 years of experience in investment and corporate banking, Jones focuses on executing middle market corporate and leveraged sponsor finance transactions across all industry sectors. Jones holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Finance, Management, and Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Capital Providers
A variety of capital providers, including private equity firms, mezzanine investors and alternative lenders, will introduce themselves and answer questions from the audience.



Moderator — Tony Schneider, BKD Corporate Finance
Schneider is responsible for managing corporate finance engagements, including mergers and acquisitions, company divestitures and debt and equity financing in BKD’s East Region. He has been involved in middle-market corporate finance activities since 1982. Most of his experience was with merger and acquisition advisory teams. Tony is a 1980 graduate of Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, with a B.S. degree, and 1989 graduate of Butler University, Indianapolis, Indiana, with an M.B.A. degree.
