Overview

Body

Join us for ACG Maryland’s Annual Deal Market Update as we dig into the latest activity and emerging trends shaping the lower middle market. While overall M&A activity continues to lag recent years, there remains unprecedented levels of dry powder in the private equity and debt worlds in various forms that are expected to provide an engine to push activity upward in the new year.  There are also various pools of equity in the lower end of the market in the form of professionalized family offices and independent sponsors that are increasingly making their presence felt.

With lower interest rates, deal exit strategies in play, and impatient capital currently on the sidelines, there are reasons to believe the market for 2026 should be more robust.

There’s a lot to talk about—this event is always a fantastic way to kick off the year, connect with peers, and hear insights from our expert panel. Bring your questions and join the conversation!
