Join us for the next Women's Leadership Series featuring Jean Taylor, Chair of Star Tribune Media Company.

ACG Minnesota, in partnership with Corvus North, presents the Women's Leadership Series. This quarterly series is for women entrepreneurs and the people who support them. We feature the most interesting leading speakers presenting on issues impacting women business owners. We build in ample time for you to network with and learn from your peers. Held over lunch or happy hour, we previously had met in unique locations but in the new normal we are pivoting to the a virtual platform. 

Your ticket includes social time with other women leaders and entrepreneurs, and the presentation the begins promptly at noon.

Jean is passionate about helping leaders succeed. Her primary professional work is in engaged governance, representing ownership of businesses through ensuring long-term vision, aligning vision and operations, and supporting leadership teams in achieving their vision.

She has spent her career leading in times of transformation – transforming business models, transforming organizational culture, transforming the value offered to customers. Her own leadership journey is one of continual personal transformation to the most authentic offering of her own gifts and talents.

Jean was with Taylor Corporation, her family company, from 1994 to 2010. She served in roles of President and Chief Executive Officer for nine years. Taylor Corporation is one of the largest privately held companies in the United States. During her tenure, the organization employed over 15,000 people, was organized as approximately 100 small and mid-sized companies, and had locations in six countries as well as 21 U.S. states.

She is a graduate of Augsburg University and received her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Support Systems from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

A member of the Board of Trustees of Minnesota Public Radio|American Public Media Group and The Minnesota Zoo Foundation, she is an active community volunteer. Jean lives in Eagan, Minnesota and enjoys travel, reading, cooking, attending arts performances of all kinds, and singing in her church choir.
