Featured Speaker: Andrea Nelson, Principal, Heartwood Partners
Andrea Nelson is a Principal on the investment team at Heartwood Partners, a private equity firm based in Norwalk, Connecticut. She is responsible for all aspects of the deal process including diligence, execution, and portfolio management. Andrea currently serves on the board of directors for Patten Seed Company, Bush Brothers, and Royal Products, and previously served on the board of Sur-Seal, which recently sold to a family office.
Andrea began her career at Cambridge Associates advising institutional clients on asset allocation and manager selection, and then worked in investment banking prior to attending business school. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from The Johns Hopkins University and earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
