Join us on April 9th for a cocktail reception and a panel on Steel City Deals: A Private Equity Panel - an inside look at middle-market transactions and the dealmakers driving them. 

Hear from an esteemed panel of Pittsburgh's private equity leaders as they share insights on current strategies, market trends, and what's shaping today's deal environment. 

Members/Sponsors: $105 I Non-Members: $200

A 3% payment processing fee will be added to credit and debit card transactions. This fee covers nonrefundable costs charged by our payment processor and does not represent surplus for ACG.

Cancellations received via email at least 3 business days from the event will be granted a refund, less a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations received after the cut-off date (3 days prior to) are not eligible for a refund. However, registrations can be transferred without penalty to another representative from the same company for the same event, with advanced notification to organizers. If the replacement representative is not a member of the association, the firm will be responsible to pay the difference between the member vs. non-member rate (this will vary depending on the event). Picture/Video Policy: Registration implies consent that any pictures or video taken during the event can be used for promotional purposes. Nico Glorieux is a principal with Baker Tilly and is the Pittsburgh market leader as well as the firm’s commercial practice leader. He specializes in commercial, manufacturing and distribution practices, including experience serving middle-market private and public clients. Nico joined the firm in 2008 and provides guidance on technical accounting issues and best practices for implementing new accounting standards. He is a frequent speaker on these topics at both Baker Tilly-sponsored and industry events.

Paul Cohn is a partner and founder of Agility Equity Partners. He is responsible for all aspects of investment management, including sourcing and executing new investments, monitoring existing portfolio company performance, and leading intermediary deal sourcing. Before founding Agility, Paul was a Managing Director and a member of the Investment Committee of Fort Washington Capital Partners, where he led all investments in GP-Led Secondaries. Paul was a Partner with Mellon Ventures, Mellon Bank’s private equity affiliate.  Paul was a founding team member, and by the time he left, Mellon Ventures had $1.3 billion invested and committed to over 100 portfolio companies and over 70 funds.  Paul started his career as an investment manager at Westinghouse Credit Corporation, acting as a lender in leveraged buyouts. Paul holds a B.S. and an MBA from the Tepper School at Carnegie Mellon University.

Brad Phillips, Managing Director, joined Incline in June 2017. He is responsible for evaluating, analyzing and monitoring investments made by the firm.

Brad currently serves as a Board Member for Barefoot Mosquito & Pest Control, Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center, Montgomery DME, Mr. Magic Car Wash and Smile Source.

Previously, Brad was a Strategy and M&A Manager at The Heritage Group.  Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at LaSalle Capital where he focused on evaluating, executing and monitoring business services investments. Brad began his career in investment banking at William Blair.

Brad received a B.A. in Psychology from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Husnain Safdar is a Principal at Tecum. He is responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting, and executing new investment opportunities. He is also responsible for managing portfolio companies and working with management teams and investment partners to develop, assess, and execute strategic initiatives.

Husnain currently serves as a Board Member for Conco Services, Hainesport Transportation Group, 5280 Waste Solutions, and Guardian Propane, and as a Board Observer for TopDown Inc., Blackwood Solutions, Arrow Waste, and Perimeter Insect Guard. He previously was a Board Member for Cox Transportation and BP Business Solutions.

Prior to joining Tecum in 2018, Husnain was an Associate at PNC Mezzanine Capital from 2016 to 2018. Previously, he was an Analyst at Harris Williams & Co, a Richmond-based investment bank specializing in middle market M&A advisory across a broad range of industries. Husnain’s experience includes investing in middle market companies across the entire balance sheet, from senior debt lending to junior capital/equity investing and sell-side M&A advisory.

Husnain received a B.S. in Accounting and a B.A. minor in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He currently serves on the Junior Achievement Young Professionals Board.

Andrew joined Riverarch Equity Partners in 2011 from PNC Equity Partners. Prior to PNC, Andrew worked within the investment bank at JPMorgan. 

Andrew received a bachelor of business administration in finance and economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA, with honors, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

He was previously or is currently a director of twenty Riverarch portfolio companies. His current investments include APA Industries, Ascend Bakery Brands, Clayton Kendall, Fortress Pest Brands, The Messenger Company, Metal Supermarkets, and The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley.
