Erin Stafford is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Group. Erin represents publicly traded and privately held companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, leveraged buyouts, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and other complex corporate transactions. She counsels clients on both the buy and sell side of transactions and throughout all stages of their life cycles. Erin advises clients across multiple industries, including technology, life sciences, financial institutions and consumer.

While obtaining her J.D from Fordham University School of Law, Erin was an associate editor of the Fordham Law Review. She earned her B.S., summa cum laude, from New York University.

Ryan Ochs is the Founder and Managing Partner of RDP Advisory, an independent, full-service merchant and investment bank providing debt advisory, capital raising, and buy and sellside M&A services for the middle market.  

Before founding RDP, Ryan Ochs led the underwriting and origination activities for Lafayette Square's investment products and sat on the investment committee for its investment advisor. Ryan has decades of experience in credit markets and principal investing across the capital structure, leading or working on deal teams that have directly invested in and/or raised capital for approximately 100 companies totaling over $5B. Prior to joining Lafayette Square, Ryan held investment professional roles at Brightwood Capital Advisors, Star Mountain Capital, and American Capital. He started his career at RBC Capital Markets in its investment banking division.

Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Ryan holds a BSc from Georgetown University.

Sundip is the Managing Partner of Landon Capital Partners, where he oversees firm operations and portfolio management, in addition to leading new investments. With over 25 years of private equity experience, he has led numerous transactions and served on the boards of more than twenty middle-market companies. Previously, Sundip was a Partner at Norwest Equity Partners and Snow Phipps, participating on both the investment and management committees. His earlier roles included senior investor positions at 3i Group and The Carlyle Group. Sundip began his career at Goldman Sachs. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA with Distinction from Cornell University.

As COO and Head of Investments at Divergent, Morgan manages the firm's day-to-day operations and directs its investment processes. He leads a team of investment professionals, ensuring comprehensive research, financial analysis, and valuations on private market investments. Morgan provides advisory services to wealth advisors, RIAs, and family offices, and works closely with private companies advising on valuation and capital structuring.​

Before joining Divergent, Morgan was the Head of Investments at Glide Capital, a $1.2 billion RIA and fund of funds platform investing across private credit and private equity. At Glide, he led the investment process, chaired the investment committee, and directed private market investments.

Prior to Glide, Morgan worked for Kawa Capital Management, a $3 billion alternative asset manager, focusing on debt and equity private placements and the firm’s multi-strategy credit hedge fund.

Morgan's career began in private banking, where he held positions at Merrill Lynch and Northern Trust. In these roles, he provided investment, portfolio management, and capital advisory services on over $4 billion in assets for select individual clients and institutions.

A graduate of the University of Alabama, Morgan holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV®) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He resides in Miami, FL.

Matthew J. Safaii

Matthew Safaii

Founder and Managing Partner

Matthew’s primary responsibilities include overseeing Arrowroot Capital, investment professionals and the Strategic Resources Group, as well as qualifying deals, conducting due diligence, executing transactions, and monitoring portfolio companies.

He has worked at several private equity firms in the U.S. and Europe. He is also an entrepreneur. His deal and board experience is concentrated in growth equity investments, but also has experience in leveraged buyouts and restructuring. Before founding Arrowroot Capital, Matthew was a Managing Director and Head of the Acquisitions Team at Actua Corp. While at Actua, Matthew was a lead or active investor and board member of several companies including MSDSonline, Parchment, Instamed, and InvestorForce. He was also an investment committee member of Rittenhouse Ventures, an early stage VC based in Philadelphia. Prior to Actua, Matthew worked in the technology group at TA Associates in the Boston and London offices. During his tenure, Matthew was an active investor, including board meeting attendance with: Creditex, Smartstream Technologies and OpenLink Financial. Prior to TA Associates, Matthew worked at Platinum Equity in Los Angeles, where he was involved with Platinum’s investment in Broadspire Services. Matthew was also the co-founder of Quewey, a digital media company based in Philadelphia. Matthew was awarded “Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors” in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 and was also awarded “Top 25 Software Investor” for 2020.
