The Hartford Committee of ACG CT invites you to a pre-summer kick-off Happy Hour event.
We will be hosting Happy Hour on the patio overlooking the golf course where we will be enjoying delicious appetizers and drinks. We welcome you to join us and meet up with ACG colleagues, meet new faces and enjoy a drink outdoors!
In addition, we will get a visit from Hartford Athletic Owner and Chairman of the Board, Bruce Mandell.
Bruce Mandell will discuss the development and growth of Hartford Athletic, including the unique business challenges of operating in the sports industry and the role a professional club can play in strengthening community, culture, and the vitality of a city.
Bruce is President of Data-Mail, Inc., a family-owned business founded in 1971 and one of the nation’s largest direct marketing, print, and production facilities. Based in the Hartford area, Data-Mail employs more than 1,000 people. Prior to joining Data-Mail, Bruce practiced corporate law in Manhattan after earning his J.D. from Georgetown University, cum laude, and his B.A. from Tufts University, magna cum laude.
Bruce is also an active supporter of the greater Hartford community. He is a former Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for Kingswood Oxford School, a Board Member for Vital Strategies, a Trustee for the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford, Fire Commissioner for the Town of Woodbridge, CT, and works closely with the Mandell Family Foundation, a nonprofit supporting education and health initiatives in Hartford.
