MEMBERSHIP

  • ACG Memberships are individual memberships and are not tied to the firm, regardless of how the membership is paid
  • ACG NextGen Membership rate is good for two years. 

REFUNDS 

  • Due to the nature of ACG events, guarantees, and requirements by the often small/medium businesses ACG Maryland uses as vendors, we cannot offer refunds. ACG Maryland will work to accommodate individual registration transfers and or other accommodations when possible. 

UNREGISTERED ATTENDEES

  • Any unregistered attendees at ACG Maryland events will automatically be invoiced at the walk-in/day-of event rate

SPEAKERS/CONTENT

  • Opinions and comments by any speaker or panelist at an ACG Maryland Event or program do not necessarily reflect those opinions of the ACG Maryland Staff, Membership, or Sponsors.

CODE OF CONDUCT 

Association for Corporate Growth (“ACG” or “Association”) members, non-member event attendees, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and staff are expected to adopt the standards of dignity, fairness, and integrity. This Code of Conduct aims to strengthen confidence in the professional standards and interactions displayed within the Association.

  • Respectful and Inclusive Behavior
    • Treat all members, non-member event attendees, partners, sponsors, and staff respectfully, regardless of their background, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
    • Refrain from engaging in discriminatory, offensive, or harassing behavior, including but not limited to verbal, written, or physical actions.
  • Professionalism
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions within the Association.
    • Avoid conflicts of interest that may compromise the integrity of the Association or its members.
    • Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information shared within the Association.
    • Do not use the membership directory for direct sales, solicitation, mass emailing, and/or similar conduct.
  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations
    • Follow all applicable laws and regulations related to your membership and the activities of the Association.
    • Adhere to any industry or professional standards relevant to your membership
  • Ethical Conduct
    • Conduct yourself ethically and honestly in all Association-related matters.
    • Avoid engaging in activities that may bring disrepute to the Association or its members.
    • Bring to the attention of the Association’s governing board potential decisions or actions concerning a member of unethical or illegal behavior.

ALCOHOL POLICY

  • ACG Maryland strongly encourages all attendees to use designated drivers or ride share services from any event where alcohol is served.

SPONSOR, EXHIBITOR, AND ATTENDEE BENEFITS

  • ACG Maryland reserves the right to modify, substitute or eliminate attendee, exhibitor and sponsor benefits if needed, if the benefit is not available, and/or to preserve the integrity of the conference attendees’ experience.
  • ACG Maryland Sponsorships are considered firm and irreversible once email confirmation is received.
  • Prior sponsors are given right of first refusal to renew their sponsorship level for the following year.

CONFLICTING EVENTS – ANNUAL DEAL FORUM 

  • To be fair to all attendees and protect the investment of all event partners, all partners, exhibitors, members, and attendees agree not to create or promote outside activities or events that conflict with elements of the official posted event agenda for ACG Maryland's Annual Deal Forum.  Partners, exhibitors, and registered attendees found to violate ACG Maryland policies and agreements voluntarily forfeit all of the remainder of the partner, exhibitor, and event attendee benefits that were to be provided to them. 

ATTENDEE LIST USAGE

  • When applicable, the intent of the provision of attendee lists is to facilitate targeted networking and meaningful business connections prior to, at, and directly following the event. Acceptance of the attendee list implies agreement to the specific terms and conditions stated on the attendee list. Additionally, the attendee list cannot be distributed to outside parties not directly associated with the event or conference, nor can it be used for mass solicitation purposes of any kind.  Sponsors, exhibitors, member and attendees found to be in violation of ACG Maryland policies and agreements voluntarily forfeit all of the remainder of the sponsor, exhibitor, event attendee or member benefits that were to be provided to them. MEDIA RELEASE & CONSENT

  • Your registration for this event acts as an audio/video release and includes your permission for ACG Maryland to use your image and comments captured on audio, video or photographic formats while attending the event for marketing and promotional purposes.
