Regan is a seasoned commercial insurance broker with experience in risk management due diligence; insurance program design, implementation and management; risk identification; and financial risk analysis. With a hyper-focus on providing unparalleled customer service, Regan has built long-lasting relationships with his clients while becoming a trusted advisor and valued partner to these companies. Regan has worked with dozens of clients representing a wide range of industries in developing risk management strategies and insurance programs to address the risks and exposures associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises including IPOs.
Regan has largely focused on providing insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services to Utah’s deal community. As a member of the firm’s Private Equity and M&A practice, Regan works closely with capital providers and portfolio companies to address the various risks that arise throughout the deal cycle.
Regan also leads the IMA Salt Lake City Sales Team with direct management of the Commercial Insurance and Personal Lines producers. Regan also leads the sales strategy and efforts for the Employee Benefits team. As the Sales Leader, Regan has worked to align the new business and client retention strategies with the producers, encouraging cross-selling and expanded collaboration efforts that permeates the legacy-Diversified and IMA cultures while growing the team in size and capabilities. Producers in SLC play a dual role, functioning as high-end Account Executives on their accounts while pursuing new business efforts, meaning that growth must be balanced with retention to achieve targeted organic growth. As IMA SLC continues to grow in revenues and headcount, Regan has helped the production team consistently exceeded new business sales goals while retaining existing accounts to maximize organic growth metrics as one of the leading producers for both new business and overall book size.
